【明報專訊】「輕輕的我走了，正如我輕輕的來；我輕輕的招手，作別西天的雲彩。」徐志摩的詩作《再別康橋》家傳戶曉，借雲彩抒發作別母校時的萬千離愁；英國浪漫主義詩人華茲華斯(William Wordsworth, 1770-1850)也有一首名作，寫雲和水仙花相遇，交織成一段美不勝收的歷程，令詩人喜不自勝。
◆I Wandered Lonely As a Cloud 詩文
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly1 dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay2,
In such a jocund3 company:
I gazed - and gazed - but little thought
What wealth4 the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,

◆大意
我像一朵雲獨自漫遊，高高的在溪谷和小山上漂浮。忽然我看到一大群、一大伙金色的水仙花，在湖邊、在樹下，在風中搖曳和跳舞。
它們像銀河上明亮閃爍的星兒連綿不絕；它們沿着一灣水濱，在一條永不完結的線上伸展。我瞥了一眼便看到上萬朵，它們搖頭擺腦，顯得精力充沛。
它們身旁的波浪也在舞蹈，但快樂的水仙花跳得更美好。如此愉快的伙伴在旁，詩人怎能不快樂？我凝視着、凝視着，沒有怎樣想到，這景象為我帶來什麼得着。
因為，每當我獨自躺臥榻上，心情空虛、沉思凝重之時，它們會在我的心眼閃現，那是獨處的快樂。然後我的心滿載歡欣，和水仙花翩翩共舞。
