Steve Jobs (1955 - 2011) was an American entrepreneur and industrial designer. He was the mastermind behind the world-renowned technology company Apple.
Since he was small, he had been into electronics. At the age of 12, he got a summer job at a large electronics company called HP.
In 1976, he co-founded Apple with his friend Steve Wozniak who is an electronics genius. Jobs persuaded investors to invest in their company. Their company had its ups and downs. Sometimes they launched new products which took the market by storm. Sometimes they could not beat the keen competition so they lost money. Jobs was fired in 1985 after a power struggle.
After leaving Apple, he started another company and also bought Pixar which produces famous animations including Toy Story. Surprisingly, he returned to Apple in 1997. He led Apple to its development of top-selling gadgets such as the iPod, iPhone and iPad. Jobs became a celebrity and he made Apple a household name. Unfortunately, he later left this world due to illness.
