 DIY﹕Caramel pudding

【明報專訊】Dessert making takes time and effort. A 15-minute quick recipe for caramel pudding (焦糖布甸) is just perfect for anyone having a sweet tooth to spend a lazy afternoon!

◆Ingredients

.Sugar

.Egg

.Milk

1.Add one tablespoon of sugar and one tablespoon of water to the cup. Mix well.

2a.Put the cup into microwave and heat for two minutes* to make the caramel sauce.

2b.*Caution! The power level varies from one microwave to another. You should be accompanied by adults when heating food.

3.Whisk the egg.

4.Add 130ml of milk into the egg.

5.Add a small teaspoon of sugar and mix well.

6.Put the mixture on top of the caramel sauce. Put it into microwave and heat for two minutes.

7.Turn the cup upside down and serve the pudding on a plate. It's just that simple!

Quick tip

Pay attention to the time of heating the sugar to form the caramel sauce. If you find the caramel in dark brown colour, it is overheated and the taste would be bitter.
