■Culture tips
Halloween
Halloween is a western festival celebrated on 31 October every year. Thanks to Hong Kong's fusion of eastern and western cultures, many people love to go trick-or-treating, which is to dress up in creative costumes and ask for candies. Moreover, the Halloween events in the two local theme parks - Hong Kong Disneyland and Ocean Park, are popular among locals and tourists. Another highlight is the Lan Kwai Fong Street Party where people who are dressed up gather and enjoy featured drinks.
■English highway﹕dress code
Rules about what clothes people should wear on certain occassions.
e.g. The company has a strict dress code — all male employees are expected to wear suits at work.
