Question tag
A question tag is a short question asked at the end of a sentence, especially in speech. It is often used to check whether the main sentence is true or to ask for confirmation. If the sentence is positive, the question tag is negative, and vice versa.
e.g. You like cooking, don't you?
e.g. He was the owner of the shop, wasn't he?
e.g. She can't speak Japanese, can she?
