¡i©ú³ø±M°T¡jFormer US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (§Æ©Ô¨½) has formally declared she will run for the 2016 Democratic (¥Á¥DÄÒªº) presidential nomination. She did so in 2008 but lost to Barack Obama (¶ø¤Ú°¨).
"I'm running for president," 67-year-old Hillary Clinton said near the end of a two-minute video showing her interacting with ordinary people. "Everyday Americans need a champion. And I want to be that champion," she said. "So I'm hitting the road to earn your vote ¡X because it's your time. And I hope you'll join me on this journey."
Hillary Clinton fights to be the first female US president and return to the White House (¥Õ®c). She was the First Lady of the US when her husband Bill Clinton (§JªL¹y) served two terms at the White House in the 1990s.
