【明報專訊】The Incident

On March 8 a Beijing-bound Malaysia Airlines craft (flight MH370) disappeared after losing contact with ground air traffic control. Two hundred and thirty-nine people had boarded it. Of them more than 150 are Chinese nationals. The incident became more mysterious when withheld details were revealed. For instance, two of the passengers boarded it with stolen passports. Some have suggested that the plane was hijacked. More than 20 countries, including China, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, have sent teams to help with the search.

Meanwhile, unofficial news has emerged from various sources. The Malaysian government has declared those updates are mostly rumours. Some suspect the Malaysian government has withheld information and many have criticised it for its handling of the incident.
