【明報專訊】In the faraway kingdom of Avalor, a witch named Shuriki got rid of the royal family and took over as queen. Princess Elena's grandparents and younger sister, Isabel, were protected from this black magic by being put into a magical painting, with Elena herself trapped in her magical amulet(護身符).
41 years passed before Elena was freed, and she managed to reclaim her kingdom. Elena's adventures will lead her to understand that her new role requires thoughtfulness, resilience(適應能力) and compassion(同情心) which are the traits of all truly great leaders. Since she is only physically 16 years old, she has a Grand Council comprised of her grandparents, older cousin Chancellor Esteban and a new friend, Naomi, to give advice along the way.
