Spotlight：South Island Line
【明報專訊】The South Island Line (SIL) of the MTR opened on 28 December 2016. It has five stations: Admiralty (金鐘), Ocean Park (海洋公園), Wong Chuk Hang (黃竹坑), Lei Tung (利東) and South Horizons (海怡半島). Its operation has made Southern District, especially Ap Lei Chau (鴨脷洲), much more accessible. Similar to the Disneyland Resort Line, the SIL is automatically operated. It was estimated that over 170,000 passengers would use the newly launched train service every day.
