Spotlight:Squeaky nightmare
【明報專訊】There were in late September this year cases of rodent infestation in Oi Man Estate, Ho Man Tin (何文田愛民村). Many residents there were terrified and anxious. Rats were spotted in many places, including toilet drains. One said he had caught up to ten rats a month.
"I am really scared. What should I do in the long night?" said Icec Ho, who lives in the estate. She mentioned on Facebook she had seen a rat falling into her apartment from the one above hers. Legislator Priscilla Leung Mei-fun (梁美芬) suspected the phenomenon had to do with MTR works.
