【明報專訊】The Ecological Footprint is an accounting tool used to measure the land and sea areas mankind uses to provide what we take from nature. According to the analysis on Hong Kong's Ecological Footprint (生態足印報告), which the World Wide Fund For Nature Hong Kong (WWF-Hong Kong, 世界自然(香港)基金會) has published, the way Hong Kong people consume is a heavy burden to the earth. If all lived the way Hong Kong people do, they would need 3.9 earths.(sources: Ming Pao, WWF-Hong Kong)
