¡i©ú³ø±M°T¡jBambi, a Life in the Woods is a novel written by Felix Salten, an Austrian. It traces the life of a male roe deer called Bambi, from his birth through his childhood, the loss of his mother and his finding of a mate. It also tells the lessons he has learned from his father, the Great Prince of the Forest, and the dangers which he encounters in the forest which are caused by hunters. The novel was adapted into animated films: Bambi and Bambi II by Walt Disney Productions, in 1942 and 2006 respectively.
