【明報專訊】Dining out is a delightful experience, but have you ever wondered what it is like to enjoy a meal in an extraordinary setting? Let's explore some of the most unusual restaurants across the globe.

The United States - The Airplane Restaurant

The Airplane Restaurant is an awesome aviation-themed restaurant inside an aeroplane which originally served the U.S. Air Force. After its retirement, it was purchased by a couple and transformed into a restaurant in 2002. While diners savour their meals, the aeroplane remains grounded. Diners can explore aviation history by admiring artefacts like the last flight logbook and model aeroplanes. They can even interact with servers dressed as flight attendants and explore the cockpit.

Thailand - Hajime Robot Restaurant

Operating since 2010 in Bangkok, Hajime Robot Restaurant stands as Thailand's pioneering Japanese robot restaurant. Here, the entire waiting staff consists of robots. Dressed as Samurai, traditional Japanese warriors, they serve up Japanese cuisine to dining tables. The dancing performance by the robots adds an extra layer of excitement to the meal. They are the real showstoppers. The restaurant's futuristic design enhances the high-tech experience.

The Philippines- Labassin Waterfall Restaurant

Nestling in the Philippines, this restaurant stands as one of the centrepieces within a resort. It promises an extraordinary dining experience, where diners can savour a delightful array of Filipino flavours while seated at the base of a man-made waterfall. Operating exclusively during lunch hours, this buffet-style restaurant immerses its guests in an elaborate culinary journey. As they dine, the water gently flows beneath their feet, creating a soothing and refreshing ambience.
