Pet-friendly parks
¡i©ú³ø±M°T¡jDog owners in Hong Kong always wonder where to take their lovely dogs for outdoor activities. As most public parks are off limits to dogs, owners can only take their pooches to the local pet gardens (Ãdª«¤½¶é) or dog gardens (ª¯¤½¶é).
Here comes the good news to all pet owners and dog lovers. The government has launched a trial scheme to open up six parks in Hong Kong for use by pet owners and their pets from 1 January 2019. The inclusive parks for pets (Ãdª«¦@¨É¤½¶é) are located at the Peak, Kowloon City, Sham Shui Po, Kwai Tsing, Sha Tin and Yuen Long.
When taking your pets to the inclusive parks, make sure they are kept under proper control. They have to be effectively restrained from causing nuisance or danger to other people and pets. You should always keep your dog on a leash and do not allow it to foul indiscriminately.
