【明報專訊】Have you ever thought of living alone on an island with a parrot? Determined to be different, Robinson went on an adventure to the unpredictable ocean. After a shipwreck in a terrible storm, he ended up on a remote island with only a few tools. Twenty-four years afterwards, he saw another human being, and he continued his journey on the sea, where he met pirates.

Daniel Defoe (丹尼爾狄福) authored the novel, which is believed to be based on the real experience of a Scottish castaway called Alexander Selkirk, who spent four years on an island near Chile (智利), which is now called Robinson Crusoe Island (魯賓遜克魯索島).
