放眼世界.Brazilians﹕optimistic but laid back

[2015.10.12] 發表

【明報專訊】I live in Tsuen Wan with my host family now. I have travelled around Hong Kong and visited a few famous attractions. Hong Kong looks clean, modern and systematic, and Hong Kong people are always busy. Compared with them, Brazilians may be regarded as very lazy. We do not think one arrives late if one arrives within half an hour of the appointed time. We often finish a task just one second before the deadline.

Country of parties and joy

Brazil is the country of parties and happiness. People there try to deal with bad situations in a good mood. They always focus on the good side. There are always some people around you laughing and telling jokes. We become familiar with new friends very quickly. Good friends are extremely important and we regard them as family members. We always have parties so that we can get together with our friends.

Shame about Brazil's political situation

I think we Brazilians know how to enjoy life. We always look at the bright side and spend much time with our friends and families. Of course, we never forget to smile and laugh. Brazilians are proud of themselves but they are ashamed of Brazil's heavy corruption and its government's administration.
