Talk of the town : Toy industry in Hong Kong
【明報專訊】Hong Kong produces a wide range of toys, and its toy industry is particularly strong in plastics manufacturing. In 1972, Hong Kong became the largest exporter of toys in the world. In 2021, Hong Kong ranked as the world's fourth-largest toy exporter, after mainland China, the US and Germany.
As the first big trade event held by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council in 2023, Toys & Games Fair kicked off in Hong Kong on January 9, bringing together more than a thousand of exhibitors to showcase their interesting toys.
