【明報專訊】Did you know that our world is getting warmer? Global warming is a worldwide emergency which is caused by too much greenhouse gas. Greenhouse gas traps the heat and makes the earth hotter. How do different countries help with this problem?
Italy
STARTING in September 2020, Italian students in every grade will learn about climate change and sustainability. It aims to help students understand the causes and results of climate change and teach them to take actions to fight against it.
Germany
RECYCLING helps reduce greenhouse gas. Germany is the world's leading country for recycling. If they put the empty bottles in a recycling machine, they can get back their money. This programme encourages more people to make an effort to recycle.
South Korea
IN South Korea, some cities are actively promoting the vegetarian culture. It is because tons of greenhouse gas is produced during the production of meat. In some school canteens, vegetarian meals are made compulsory three times a month and vegetarian dishes are available every day in order to protect the rights of vegetarian students.
