With the advance in technology, motion pictures are created so differently! Drones (無人航拍機) make it cheaper for filmmakers to shoot spectacular views from the sky, while time-lapse photography (縮時攝影) makes it possible to present changes in a short period of time! (picture 2)
◆Mysterious numbers
The most acclaimed award in the filmmaking industry is the Academy Awards organised by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which is also known as the Oscars. Each year 24 awards are given to actors and behind-the-scene production workers. Films in 2017 will compete for the awards and be presented in the 90th Awards presentation ceremony in March, 2018.(photo B)
