©ñ²´¥@¬É¡GSalty-sweet Thailand
¡i©ú³ø±M°T¡jI have already stayed in Surat Thani, a province in southern Thailand, for five months. I enjoy living there so much. People there are very friendly and nice. Once when I walked down the corridor, a stranger shouted, "Ni Hao, my friend!" It is very easy to make friends there.
love Thai pancake
There are in Thailand many hawker foods, like loti (Thai style pancake), crepe (Thai style cone shaped pancake), satay food, papaya salad and various kinds of fruits and drinks. They are sold on motorbikes in crowded places. My favourite hawker food is loti, the Thai pancake. You can have any flavour you like. I like banana with chocolate most! When I want to eat anything fresh, I will choose something with fruits. You can choose almost any fruit. Just tell the vendor how much you are going to pay him, and he will cut it into small pieces for you.
Thai people have a peculiar eating habit. They like putting salt into what is sweet and sugar into what is salty. I always see them adding salt and fish sauce to fruits. The taste is so special that I strongly recommend that you try doing the same!
There are so many yummy foods in Thailand that I am sure I will miss them when I am back in Hong Kong. I hope I will discover more delicious foods in the country in the rest of my stay in it.
