DIY:No-bake banana cake

2 cups of double cream
1/3 cup of powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups of sliced bananas
220 g of cream cheese
50 g of melted unsalted butter
12 crushed digestive biscuits
◆Optional topping
biscuit crumbs
1. Mix half of the crushed biscuits with the butter. Place the mixture evenly on an empty glass container.
2. Whip 2 cups of double cream with a mixer in a bowl until it thickens up a bit. Add 1/3 cup of powdered sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract and whip it until it becomes stiff. Set aside one third of the whipped cream for topping.
3. Blend the cream cheese in another bowl until smooth. Fold in the remaining whipped cream and stir.
4. Spread half of the cream mixture on the biscuits. Place a layer of bananas slices on top.
5. Top with another layer of crushed biscuits and spread the other half of the cream mixture on top. Add another layer of bananas.
6. Top with a final layer of crushed biscuits. Spread the reserved 1/3 cup of whipped cream over evenly. Place the last layer of banana slices and sprinkle some biscuit crumbs on top.
