Erin O’Toole
Q: What are your thoughts on the most recent poll?
A: I think it really highlights that there is a clear choice in this election. People are looking at different ways at moving a country forward and this is a healthy thing in a democracy.
The reality is those choices that Canadians are making couldn't be clear right now. The Conservatives have said that they will bring back assault weapons that we banned, they are going to eliminate the $10 a day childcare agreement that we signed across the country and not sign anymore which we know will make a huge difference, not just for families but also for economic growth as well, because more women will be able to get into the workforce.
They are not even strong on vaccines. All my candidates are vaccinated, I have said that we need to have mandatory vaccination on planes, trains and in the public services. We are working on vaccine passports with the provinces.
Erin O'Toole wouldn't even make sure his candidates are vaccinated, and there is nothing on people on planes and trains that should be vaccinated. That's not how we get through this pandemic.
If we don't get through this pandemic, we don't get to do the other things that I know people want to do once we get out of this.
