Talk of the town : Summer of fun

[2023.05.31] 發表
Not only is summer vacation a break after the stressful final exams, but also a time to stay with our family and make new friends.

【明報專訊】The summer vacation is a much-anticipated time of the year for many people. It is a time to take a break from the routine of daily life and enjoy a period of rest, relaxation, and fun. For students, the summer vacation is a time to take a break from studies.

Critics of the concept of the summer vacation argue that students might forget the knowledge they have learned. On the other hand, supporters of the summer vacation argue that children should have the opportunity to enjoy their childhood by having a long vacation. Anyway, the summer vacation is a time to unwind, explore new places, and make memories that will last a lifetime.

1. Travel - Take a trip to a new destination or explore a place that you've always wanted to visit. A cultural tour can always expand your horizons.

2. Learn a new skill - Use the summer break to learn something new, whether it's a language like Japanese and Korean, a musical instrument like the ukulele and piano, or a new sport.

3. Volunteer - Get involved in your community by volunteering at a local organization or non-profit organization. This is a great way to give back and make a difference.

4. Read - The summer vacation is the perfect time to catch up on reading. Choose a book that you've always wanted to read or explore a new genre.

Whatever you choose to do, make sure to enjoy your summer vacation and create lasting memories!
