¡i©ú³ø±M°T¡jRTHK TV Channel 32 has been airing at midnight and in the morning an interesting one-hour programme that features dozens of chickens just clucking, drinking water and eating (pictured). It is not exactly a documentary. The idea of making such a programme comes from "slow TV" in Norway, which has in recent years gained in popularity.
"Slow TV" is a genre of live "marathon" television coverage of an ordinary event in its complete length, like a recording of a seven-hour train journey, a five-day boat trip or a twelve-hour period of knitting. "Slow TV" is known for its meditative effect. It is best to put it on in the background while you work, focus or just relax.
