【明報專訊】The rooftop of a building in To Kwa Wan (土瓜灣) had been crammed with construction waste until last May, when a voluntary group called Fixing HK (維修香港) stepped in. It took its members five months to remove the unwanted things. Max, a volunteer who took part in the clearance, said residents there had kept themselves aloof from the situation. That was why they decided to help. The area is now a public space where people who live in the building can meet one another, sun their laundry and even have barbecues.(sources: Ming Pao, Fixing HK Facebook page)
