【明報專訊】To complete the phenomenally popular trilogy (三部曲), Maze Runner: the Death Cure continues the adventure of death-defying Thomas, who is determined to save his friend Minho. He is ready to confront (面對) his long-standing (長存的) enenmies from WCKD. Paradoxically, they are going back to the same place they once fought so hard to escape from. He needs to go to Last City, the lethal (致命的) maze and the den of theives of the wicked organisation in the story. What has been awaiting him and the Gladers are the place they were so desperate to escape from, "cranks" which look like zombies and most importantly, the answers to all the mysteries in the series.

"Paradoxically" is an adverb. It is used when something happens in a way that seems strange, impossible or unlikely because it has two opposite features or contains two opposite ideas.

e.g. Paradoxically, the more clothes he wears, the colder he is.
