DIY﹕Moon phase(月相) viewer

- small torch
- cardboard
- toilet paper roll
- split pin
- scissors
- marker
(1)Cut out three circles from the cardboard. Each disc should be the same size as the base of the toilet paper roll.
(2)Make a hole in the centre of disc 1. The hole should fit the small torch. Adhere the cardboard and the torch to one side of the toilet paper roll.
(3)Divide disc 2 into 8 section. Draw on the edge of each section a moon phase and cut out the bright parts of the moons. Make sure the moons are the same size.
(4)Divide disc 3 into 8 sections and cut away one. Make a small hole in the centre of the dics 2 and 3 and connect them with the split pin.
(5)Adhere the combined disc 2 and 3 at the other end of the roll. Disc 2 should be placed inside.
(6)Turn on the torch and enjoy the view against a dark surface by rotating disc 3.
