¡i©ú³ø±M°T¡jK-pop stands for Korean pop, which comprises all genres of "popular music" in South Korea. It has become a popular subculture among teenagers and young adults throughout Asia and has now a sizeable overseas audience.
The hallmarks of K-pop include popular music groups such as BIGBANG and EXO. Most of their members received training when they were young, and they are good at music, choreography and foreign languages and have good communication skills. Sharp dance routines and fashionable outfits are characteristics of K-pop.
