¡i©ú³ø±M°T¡jThe Department of Health has released the Report of Population Health Survey 2020-22, which is a survey of more than 16,000 people aged 15 or above. The Report has found that a quarter of people aged 18 or above performed insufficient level of physical activities, thus failing to meet the standard advised by the World Health Organization (WHO).

For instance, about one-fifth of the population aged 15 or above reported sitting or reclining for 10 hours or longer every day. The report suggested the result is partly due to the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing measures.

WHO requires people aged 18 or above should perform at least 150 to 300 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic physical activity, or 75 to 150 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic physical activity per week.
