The Smarties are having a game night. The first game is called a word ladder. Would you like to give it a try too? Change only one letter in each step to make a new word. Use the hints to help you. (See the picture)

■Game 2

After finishing the first word game, the Smarties are asking one another some maths problems. Let's take a look at the maths problems they are trying to solve.

1. I have a 7 in the tens place. I have an even number in the ones place. I am smaller than 74. What number am I?

2. Kelvin has 42 more stuffed animals than Sarah. Kelvin has 95 stuffed animals. How many stuffed animals does Sarah have?

3. Rachel left the tutoring centre at a quarter to seven in the evening. Forty minutes later, she was home. What time was it when she arrived home?

4. Jessica made some s'mores. Mark made 9 times as many s'mores. Mark made 18 s'mores. How many s'mores did Jessica make?

5. A group of 10 people are going to order some pizzas. Each person wants 2 slices. Each pizza is cut into 4 slices. How many pizzas should they order?
