DIY：Paper phone stand
【明報專訊】What is your favourite animal or cartoon character? Design your own paper phone stand for yourself or someone you cherish. It can be used as a memo board as well.
◆Materials and tools
˙ Paper / cardstock
˙ Glue / double tape
˙ Scissors
˙ A pencil / marker pen / crayons
(1) Fold a piece of A4-sized (21 x 29.7cm) paper in half.
(2) Fold it in half once again.Unfold the paper.
(3) Hold the left side of the paper and then fold to meet the centre line.
(4) Flip vertically. Hold the right side of the paper and fold inwards for 3cm.
(5) Flip vertically again. Repeat step 4.
(6) Unfold the right part and apply some glue on the left area.
(7) Insert the part with glue into the ''pocket'' on the left and press to stick well.
(8) Fold the bottom part in half.
(9) Draw and cut out the head and hands of your favourite animal or cartoon character. Stick them behind the stand.
◆Quick tips
˙ Since A4 paper is too thin to support the weight of a phone. Attach at least two pieces of A4 paper together to increase the thickness.
˙ You may decorate the stand with patterns, drawings, masking tapes, stickers or stamps, etc.
