DIY：Strawberry milk
【明報專訊】Have you ever tried fresh fruit milk? There is nothing artificial. It is also irresistibly beautiful and delicious.
◆Ingredients
． 5 strawberries
． 2 tablespoons of honey (optional)
． 3 tablespoons of sugar
． 1 cup of milk
˙ 1 tablespoon of strawberry jam (optional)
(1) Wash the strawberries. Cut the stems off.
(2) Dice the strawberries.
(3) Mash them up with a spoon or a fork.
(4) Put the strawberries including the juice into a jar. Mix in the sugar. Add some strawberry jam or honey if you like. Then set aside in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
(5) Spoon the strawberries and juice into a glass or a bottle until 1/4 to 1/3 way up.
(6) Add in milk and stir. Add more sugar or honey to taste. Serve.
◆Quick tips
˙ For better taste, let the mixture sit in the fridge overnight.
˙ For toppings, you can use strawberry chunks, ice cream or whipped cream.
˙ You may use mangoes instead of strawberries but you have to add more sugar.
