¡i©ú³ø±M°T¡jA Michelin Guide is a guidebook published annually by Michelin, a French company. It contains lists of restaurants and hotels in Europe. Each eatery is given one, two or three stars according to the company's system for judging food quality.
Michelin sends anonymous restaurant reviewers to try and rate restaurants. They have to write thorough reports about their dining experiences and decide whether the restaurants they have visited should be awarded Michelin stars. Restaurants with three Michelin stars are regarded as extremely good, and there are only a few of them.
Michelin has also published guidebooks about New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Macau.
