Cleopatra VII Thea Philopator (70/69 BC-30 BC), or simply Cleopatra, was the last queen of the Ptolemaic dynasty of Egypt (古埃及托勒密王朝). She was a princess and her family had ruled Egypt for about 300 years. When she was only 14, she ruled the country together with her father. After her father died, she started ruling Egypt as the major ruler with her younger brothers.
She was an intelligent person. She could speak a lot of languages. Even though Cleopatra's family ruled Egypt, they were Greek. Most of them spoke Greek only but Cleopatra decided to learn the Egyptian language and adopt their culture.
She was one of the most famous women in history. She represents courage, intelligence and beauty. It is rumoured that Cleopatra bathed in donkey milk to preserve her beauty.
