Hong Kong Wetland Park is located in Tin Shui Wai. It is a world-class ecotourism attraction which focuses on conservation, education and tourism. It was opened to the public in 2006. It is an enormous habitat for a variety of animals and plants, especially for waterbirds. Pui Pui (貝貝) the crocodile and globally endangered black-faced spoonbills are the stars there. The park is one of the few wintering sites for black-faced spoonbills. At Hong Kong Wetland Park, local and overseas visitors can learn about the wetland ecosystem and observe wildlife with telescopes provided.
