【明報專訊】In June 2016, an electric racing car accelerated from 0 km/h to 100 km/h in 1.513 seconds. It broke the world record of electric car 0-100 km/h acceleration. Thirty students of ETH Zurich (蘇黎世聯邦理工學院) and Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (琉森應用科學與藝術大學) developed and built that vehicle in less than a year. ■ Glossary accelerate (v) (車輛或駕駛者)加速
