【明報專訊】In Moby-Dick (《白鯨記》), a young man had a job on a ship called Pequod. Its captain, Ahab, is a fierce, violent man whose strongest desire is to kill Moby Dick, a gigantic white sperm whale (抹香鯨). It injured Ahab seriously when he was young. Ahab is crazy about taking revenge on Moby Dick, even though it means putting the whole crew of Pequod in danger...

Moby-Dick is an 1851 novel by Herman Melville (赫爾曼．梅爾維爾). In the movie 2010: Moby Dick, the crew of a submarine use modern equipment such as a sonar system (聲納設備) to hunt whales.
