【明報專訊】Bill and MoMo are catching a plane for holidays. Can they make a timely arrival?

MoMo: I really should have bought a new suitcase. I have tried (1) hard to move it but the wheels are always stuck. I can (2) hardly move it.

Bill: Come on, MoMo, if we don't go (3) fast, we will be (4) late for the flight!

MoMo: Oh, it is still (5) early now. We still have two hours.

Bill: If we arrive (6) late, there will be a long queue at the check-in counter.

MoMo: Ugh! You are right. Let's get this troublesome old thing to move!

■English highway﹕

We usually form adverbs by adding -ly to the adjectives. However, there are some exceptions. Some adverbs are spelled the same as the adjectives, while the -ly form has a different meaning.
