◆Hungary - Goulash
Goulash is Hungary's national dish. It is a beef stew, usually seasoned with a lot of sweet paprika(紅辣椒粉) and other spices. The broth is a mixed flavour of sweetness and spiciness. It is served with potatoes, dumplings, noodles, bread, etc. Although it originated from Hungary, it is now a popular dish enjoyed in other parts of Europe.
◆Morocco - Tagine
Tagine is a slow-cooked meat stew. The main ingredients include meat, vegetables, nuts, dried fruits and spices. The meat can be chicken, beef, pork, lamb or fish. The dish is named after the pot in which it is cooked. The traditional ceramic cookware is round with a cone-shaped cover. This unique shape keeps the meat and vegetables tender. It is served with bread.
◆France - French onion soup
French onion soup is usually served as a starter in a meal. It is made with strongly-flavoured beef stock and onions. The onions are thinly sliced and cooked until very soft. There is always melted cheese on top. It originated in ancient times and was enjoyed by poor people. Now, it is served at restaurants.
