◆Know more

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756 - 1791), or simply Mozart, was an Austrian composer of classical music. He was one of the greatest composers of all time. He wrote brilliant pieces for the piano, choir, orchestra and small groups of musical instruments. His most popular works include The Magic Flute and Rondo Alla Turca (Turkish March).

Born into a musician family, he was a child prodigy. At the mere age of five, he started playing the harpsichord(大鍵琴) and the violin. He also composed his own pieces of music. Then at the age of six, he started performing at concerts for kings and queens in different countries. At the age of 11, he wrote his first opera.

Mozart himself could play multiple musical instruments, including the harpsichord, piano, violin and organ. Apart from being a composer, he also worked as a conductor, organist, pianist and piano tutor.
