News feed:COVID vaccination
【明報專訊】The COVID-19 Vaccination Programme came into operation on February 26. Five priority groups, including medical practitioners and people aged 60 or above, can get inoculated (注射) first. To get the jab, citizens have to make a booking online, and there are four channels: community vaccination centres, general out-patient clinics, care homes for the elderly and disabled, or private clinics.
There are currently two vaccines available: the Sinovac vaccine and the Fosun Pharma/BioNTech vaccine. Their side effects are mild, including muscle spasms (肌肉痙攣), muscle pain, etc.
“ Pat: I have a phobia of needles... Though it's not my turn... ”
“ MoMo: The Central Library is one of the community vaccination centres! ”
“ Eason: I'm a doctor. Please let me get the jab first! ”
