◆Know more
Aristotle (亞里士多德, 384 BC - 322 BC) was one of the most influential thinkers from ancient Greece. When he turned seventeen, he headed to Athens to learn philosophy at Plato's Academy (柏拉圖學院). It was not any ordinary school like what we have today. Instead of learning specific subjects, students asked one another questions and attempted to answer them. They learned from thinking and debating.
Aristotle liked observation and thinking. He made a lot of interesting discoveries but some were not true. For example, he thought that the heart was the centre of intelligence. Although some of his observations were inaccurate, he laid the foundation of science. He is even considered to be the ''Father of Biology''.
■English highway﹕Negative question
