【明報專訊】Do you send Christmas cards? Looking for some nice-looking cards? How about making your own Christmas cards and send your special holiday greetings to your friends and family this year?
◆Materials and tools
˙ Coloured paper or cardstock
˙ Markers or coloured pencils
˙ Scissors
˙ Glue
(1) Draw squares of 12 x 12 cm, 10 x 10 cm, 8 x 8 cm, 6 x 6 cm and 4 x 4 cm on a piece of paper. They will be used for making the Christmas tree. Cut out the squares.
(2) Fold a square in half. Rotate the paper so that the open side is facing down. Fold both top corners downwards to meet the bottom side. Do the same to other squares.
(3) Draw a rectangle of 24 x 16 cm. Cut out the rectangle and fold it in half.
(4) Draw a star on a piece of yellow or golden paper.
(5) Cut out the star and stick it on the upper part of the cover. Stick the folded tree parts on the cover too!
(6) Write your greetings inside and decorate. Here is your Christmas card!
◆Quick tips
˙You may decorate the cover with more drawings or glitter glue.
˙You may use any other colour for the tree. White and pink look good too.
