【明報專訊】Both Serena Williams (left) and Venus Williams (right) are professional tennis players from the US. Serena, who has won over 20 Grand Slam (大滿貫) singles titles, now ranks first in the world. Venus (who is a year older than Serena) ranks number twelfth in the world.
The Williams sisters often play in doubles together, but they sometimes have to play against each other in singles events. They have won twenty-one doubles titles together, including the 2012 Olympics women's tennis double gold medal.
Apart from playing tennis, Serena has set up a foundation for building schools for underprivileged children in Africa (非洲).
