Hong Kong was a fishing village and now a port city so it is famous for its seafood. There are some ''seafood streets'' for Cantonese-style seafood dishes, which can be easily found along the seafront on outlying islands such as Lamma Island. The big tanks of live fish and other sea creatures at the seafood restaurants are eye-catching. Customers choose what they want to eat in front of the tanks. When ordering, they tell the restaurant servers how they want the seafood to be cooked and also their choices of seasoning and sauce. No matter whether you wish to enjoy your seafood steamed, stir-fried, boiled, baked or grilled with soy sauce, chilli sauce or black bean sauce, you will not be disappointed.
