DIY:Salt painting
【明報專訊】Have you ever heard of salt painting? It is an easy and fun activity and the materials are very easy to get.
◆Materials and tools
˙A piece of coloured paper or cardstock
˙White glue
˙Salt
˙Watercolour paints
˙Brush(es)
Materials and tools
(1) Draw your design on a piece of cardstock with white glue.
(2) Sprinkle some salt over the design.
(3) Shake off the excess salt.
(4) Add colours on the design with watercolour paints.
(5) Put aside and leave the painting to dry.
◆Quick tips
˙You may put the piece of cardstock on a paper plate so that the salt does not spill everywhere.
˙Do not add too much water to the watercolour paints.
˙You may add more colours on the design after the painting dries.
