e.g. MoMo's chant gave Bill a second wind in the race.

◆Straw in the wind

Something that indicates what might happen in the future.

e.g. The resurgence of vegetation was a straw in the wind that the forest was recovering from the fire.

◆It's an ill wind

Said to show that even a very bad situation must have some good results.

e.g. MoMo is sick but it is an ill wind for her, she hasn't taken a rest for a long time.
