■English highway﹕Gym
"Gym" is also known as "gymnasium". When used as a countable noun, it refers to a building or room that has equipment for doing physical exercise.
e.g. I go to the gym at least once a week.
When used as an uncountable noun, it refers to exercises that people do indoors for physical development and as a sport.
e.g. We've got gym this afternoon at school.
