【明報專訊】Bill won the champion of a swimming competition earlier and a prize ceremony is to be held today. Eason, who can't swim but has long desired the handsome cash prize, is trying to take it away by disguising himself as Bill.

“ Bill: Hey MoMo! ”

“ MoMo: You're finally here! Congratulations again, Bill. ”

“ MoMo: Don't forget your performance before the prize presentation! Hurry to the pool! ”

“ Bill: What?! No, wait... ”

“ Bill: Sorry I'm late! We were stuck in a traffic jam. ”

“ MoMo: Who's that fellow in the water then? We must save him! ”

“ Dr Panda: Someone who pretended to be the winner, but at the end burnt his fingers.”

■Culture tips

World Turtle Day

Today is the World Turtle Day. It was started by American Tortoise Rescue, an organisation established in 1990 by a couple who were inspired by the baby tortoises (陸龜) they had adopted. They dedicate themselves to rescuing turtles (海龜) and tortoises around the world. On this day, pet lovers take photos with turtles and tortoises and share them on social networking sites. Also, the organisation hopes to raise awareness of the threats tortoises and turtles are facing, including disappearing habitats around the globe and illegal sales of the hatchlings.

■English highway﹕burn one's fingers/ get one's fingers burned

It means to suffer consequences of one's actions.

e.g. They got their fingers burnt in the casino and lost a lot of money. They swore never to gamble again.
