【明報專訊】Army Stew is one of the Koreans' favourite dishes. It was invented in the Korean War famine years. Food was then scarce, and Koreans managed to use leftover meat discarded or handed out from US military bases.

Army Stew has remained a popular dish. It is like the Chinese hotpot and contains various things including kimchi, canned meat, sausages, bacon, Korean rice cakes, vegetables and noodles. The pot is large and the soup is usually slightly spicy.
